Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Medical Representative based in Riyadh, you will be responsible for implementing Abbott’s strategic initiatives within the Established Pharmaceuticals division. Your primary focus will be on driving sales and expanding our portfolio of branded generic medicines across key therapeutic areas, including gastroenterology, women’s health, cardiometabolic, pain management/central nervous system, and respiratory. Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Executing Sales Strategies: Ensure Abbott’s sales strategies are effectively implemented in your assigned territory, maximizing efficiency and market penetration.
- Conducting Sales Calls: Target high-potential areas to drive sales growth, leveraging your deep understanding of Abbott’s products and the local healthcare landscape.
- Developing Business Opportunities: Identify and cultivate relationships with existing and potential clients to expand Abbott’s market presence and meet evolving customer needs.
- Monitoring Market Trends: Stay ahead of industry developments and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making and maintain Abbott’s competitive edge.
- Building Key Account Relationships: Maintain strong, collaborative partnerships with key accounts, ensuring their requirements are met while aligning with Abbott’s standards of excellence.

Qualifications and Skills
To excel in this role, you must meet the following qualifications and possess the following skills:
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or a medical-related field.
- Licensing: Valid licensure from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialists (SCHS).
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in both English and Arabic, with the ability to communicate effectively in diverse settings.
- Experience: 0-2 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical sales, healthcare, or a related field.
