Warehouse Technician

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Warehouse Technician to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities

• Technical and Maintenance Support: Execute technical and maintenance tasks as required to maintain optimal warehouse operations, ensuring all systems and equipment are in proper working condition.
• Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain a variety of material handling equipment, including forklifts, cranes, and other machinery, with a strong emphasis on safety and efficiency.
• Material Handling: Assist in the loading, unloading, and handling of materials and supplies, ensuring accurate and timely processing to meet operational demands.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain precise records of work activities, inventory movements, and equipment maintenance to support compliance and operational transparency.
• Safety and Compliance: Strictly adhere to all safety regulations, company procedures, and industry standards to create a secure working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
• Team Collaboration: Provide technical support to fellow team members and contribute to cross-functional initiatives to enhance overall warehouse performance.

Skills and Competencies

• Technical Proficiency: Solid technical knowledge and hands-on experience to perform tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Computer Literacy: Ability to use computers for data entry, information retrieval, and report preparation to maintain operational records.
• Equipment Operation: Competence in operating material handling equipment, including forklifts, cranes, and other tools essential for warehouse logistics.
• Material Knowledge: Familiarity with materials used in generation, transmission, and distribution processes to ensure proper handling and storage.
• Licensing: Valid Public Driving License required to operate heavy equipment and vehicles within the warehouse premises.
• Language Skills: Proficiency in both English and Arabic to facilitate clear communication with team members and stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience

• Educational Background: Diploma in Supply Chain, Mechanics, Electricity, or an equivalent field from a recognized institution.
• Work Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in warehouse operations, material handling, or a related technical field.
