About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Facility Maintenance Oversight: Lead and supervise both preventive and corrective maintenance activities across all branches to ensure optimal performance and longevity of critical systems.
• System Monitoring and Management: Continuously monitor HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems to identify potential issues, implement timely interventions, and prevent disruptions to daily operations.
• Contractor and Service Provider Management: Coordinate with external contractors and service providers, ensuring high-quality workmanship, adherence to project timelines, and cost-effective solutions.
• Site Inspections and Reporting: Conduct regular site inspections to assess system performance, document findings, and prepare detailed technical reports to support decision-making and compliance reporting.
• Maintenance Request Resolution: Efficiently address and resolve maintenance requests from stakeholders, prioritizing urgent issues while maintaining clear communication throughout the process.
• Health and Safety Compliance: Enforce and uphold health and safety protocols, ensuring all operations comply with regulatory standards and internal policies to create a secure working environment.

Qualifications and Skills

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent professional certifications will also be considered.
• Professional Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years of hands-on experience in maintenance and operations, with a proven track record in managing complex systems and teams.
• Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, including installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance best practices.
• Contractor Management: Demonstrated ability to liaise with contractors, evaluate their performance, and ensure deliverables meet organizational standards.
• Reporting and Documentation: Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to compile technical data into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders.
• Industry Experience: Prior experience in the hospitality or hotel sector is advantageous, as it provides familiarity with the unique demands of facility management in high-traffic environments.
