Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Junior Front-End Developer at PulseMedia, you will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining responsive, user-centric websites and landing pages tailored for healthcare and wellness clients. Your responsibilities will include:

• Front-End Development:
  • Transform UI/UX design mockups into clean, maintainable, and reusable front-end code.
  • Develop digital marketing assets that deliver seamless user experiences across all devices and platforms.
  • Ensure websites are optimized for performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Collaboration and Communication:
  • Work closely with designers, digital marketers, and project managers to deliver cohesive and high-quality projects.
  • Support SEO initiatives, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and performance-driven website enhancements.
  • Participate in team discussions, offering insights to refine and improve development workflows.
• CMS and Website Management:
  • Maintain and update WordPress websites and other content management systems.
  • Implement content updates, design page layouts, and develop reusable templates to streamline future projects.
  • Assist in ongoing website improvements and the implementation of new features.
• Quality Assurance and Testing:
  • Identify and resolve front-end bugs, visual inconsistencies, and usability issues.
  • Conduct thorough testing across various browsers and devices to ensure consistent performance.
  • Uphold high coding standards and quality benchmarks across all projects.

Your Ideal Profile

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Front-End Developer with the following qualifications:

• Experience: 0–2 years of front-end development experience, including internships, freelance projects, personal initiatives, or entry-level roles. Experience with live websites or web applications is highly desirable.
• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Web Development, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in the industry.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with responsive and mobile-first development methodologies.
  • Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or similar is considered a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with WordPress or other CMS platforms.
  • Understanding of SEO-friendly front-end development practices.
• Tools and Technologies:
  • Experience using Git or other version control systems to manage code repositories.
  • Familiarity with design tools such as Figma or Adobe XD.
  • Basic knowledge of website performance optimization techniques and cross-browser testing.
• Soft Skills:
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote team.

Nice to Have: Experience with CSS frameworks such as Tailwind CSS or Bootstrap, understanding of WCAG accessibility standards, exposure to healthcare or regulated industries, familiarity with JavaScript build tools, and fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is an added advantage.
