About the Role

Mobco Group is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our dynamic Human Resources Department. In this pivotal role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring accurate and timely salary processing for our workforce while maintaining strict compliance with company policies and Saudi Labor Law. The ideal candidate will bring a robust background in payroll administration, salary processing, employee settlements, and hands-on experience with Oracle ERP systems, particularly within the construction or contracting industry. Your expertise will be instrumental in supporting our operational excellence and fostering a seamless payroll experience for all employees.

Key Responsibilities

As a Payroll Specialist at Mobco Group, your core responsibilities will encompass a wide range of payroll-related functions, including:

  • Monthly Payroll Processing: Prepare and process monthly payroll for employees using the Oracle ERP system, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
  • Data Verification and Validation: Verify attendance records, overtime calculations, leave balances, allowances, deductions, and any necessary payroll adjustments to maintain precision in salary disbursements.
  • Employee Final Settlements: Calculate and prepare final settlements for employees, including end-of-service benefits, leave encashments, and other entitlements, in accordance with Saudi Labor Law and company policies.
  • Cross-Departmental Coordination: Collaborate closely with the HR, Administration, and Finance Departments to ensure seamless payroll operations, resolve discrepancies, and facilitate timely salary processing.
  • Record Maintenance and Documentation: Maintain and update comprehensive payroll records and related documentation, ensuring all data is current, accurate, and securely stored.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure full compliance with Saudi Labor Law, company policies, and established payroll procedures to mitigate risks and uphold organizational integrity.
  • Salary Management: Review and process salary changes, promotions, transfers, and employment status updates within the payroll system to reflect accurate compensation.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Generate and distribute payroll reports, settlement reports, and employee cost analysis reports to support data-driven decision-making and financial planning.
  • Employee Support: Address payroll-related inquiries and resolve employee concerns promptly and professionally, fostering a positive employee experience.
  • Audit Support: Assist in payroll audits by providing accurate documentation and ensuring all payroll transactions are properly recorded and compliant with internal and external standards.
  • Data Accuracy and Confidentiality: Monitor payroll data accuracy rigorously and maintain the strict confidentiality of sensitive employee information at all times.
  • Process Optimization: Contribute to payroll system improvements and process optimization initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce errors, and streamline operations.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, you will possess the following qualifications and professional attributes:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 5 to 8 years of progressive experience in payroll administration, with a proven track record in salary processing and employee settlements.
  • Mandatory experience working within the construction or contracting industry, with a deep understanding of its unique payroll challenges and requirements.
  • Hands-on experience with the Oracle ERP Payroll System, including configuration, data entry, and reporting functionalities.
  • In-depth knowledge of Saudi Labor Law, payroll regulations, and end-of-service benefit calculations, ensuring full compliance in all transactions.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create complex formulas, pivot tables, and financial reports.

Mandatory Requirements

Candidates must meet the following mandatory criteria to be considered for this position:

  • 5 to 8 years of direct payroll administration experience.
  • Proven experience in salary preparation and processing final settlements for employees.
  • Strong understanding of payroll processes, employee benefits, and end-of-service calculations.
  • Hands-on experience with the Oracle ERP Payroll System.
  • Availability to join immediately or within a short notice period to ensure continuity in payroll operations.
