Night Auditor

Position Overview

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our esteemed team at Le Méridien in Almadinah Almunawwarah, Saudi Arabia. In this full-time, non-management role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the financial accuracy and operational integrity of our hotel by overseeing nightly audits, managing cash transactions, and maintaining precise financial records. Key Responsibilities

The Night Auditor will be responsible for a wide range of financial and administrative duties, including:

• Financial Accuracy and Compliance: Verify, record, and analyze financial data to ensure precision in computerized systems. Audit and reconcile revenue entries, maintain financial records, and prepare accurate reports, including statistical, financial, accounting, payroll, and audit-related documents.
• Cash Management: Handle, secure, and account for all hotel cash and cash equivalents in strict adherence to company cash-handling policies and procedures.
• Document and Record Maintenance: Organize, safeguard, and manage all files and records in compliance with document retention policies and confidentiality standards.
• Guest Service Excellence: Provide warm, professional, and attentive service to guests during overnight hours. Anticipate their needs, address inquiries promptly, and ensure their comfort and satisfaction. Assist guests with disabilities with patience and care.
• Communication and Professionalism: Communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues, guests, and management. Prepare and review written documents with accuracy, and handle telephone inquiries using proper etiquette.
• Team Collaboration and Safety: Foster positive working relationships with team members, support colleagues in achieving common goals, and address concerns with professionalism. Maintain awareness of safety protocols, report any accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions, and remain vigilant to ensure the security of hotel premises and guests.
• Policy Adherence and Confidentiality: Strictly adhere to company policies and procedures, including those related to security, confidentiality, and the protection of proprietary information. Maintain a neat and professional appearance while upholding the highest standards of integrity.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, candidates should meet the following requirements:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent General Educational Development (GED) certificate.
• Experience: No prior experience is required; however, familiarity with financial systems, bookkeeping, or customer service is advantageous.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English and Arabic is preferred, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in using computers and financial software for data entry, analysis, and reporting.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, move, transport, push, pull, or position objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
