Director - Core Assets Financial Planning & Analysis

About the Role

Qiddiya Investment Company is at the forefront of an ambitious initiative to develop the largest entertainment city in Saudi Arabia, and we are seeking a seasoned Director of Core Assets Financial Planning & Analysis to lead our financial strategy. This critical position will play a pivotal role in shaping our financial planning and analysis frameworks, ensuring alignment with our growth objectives and operational excellence. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving financial performance, providing strategic insights, and supporting executive decision-making to propel the company toward its long-term vision.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Financial Leadership: Lead the financial planning and analysis function, including the development of annual budgets, strategic forecasts, and sophisticated financial models to support Qiddiya Investment Company’s expansion and operational goals.
• Performance Analysis & Insights: Conduct in-depth variance analysis and deliver actionable financial insights to senior management, highlighting operational performance and the impact of strategic initiatives on financial outcomes.
• Comprehensive Reporting Frameworks: Design and implement robust reporting frameworks to monitor and evaluate financial performance metrics across the organization, ensuring transparency and accountability.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with business units to align financial objectives with the company’s broader strategic vision, fostering a cohesive approach to financial planning and execution.
• Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes and systems, driving efficiency, accuracy, and scalability to support the company’s dynamic growth.
• Executive Communication: Prepare and deliver detailed financial presentations for executive leadership and stakeholders, translating intricate financial data into clear, strategic insights that inform decision-making.
• Regulatory & Industry Awareness: Stay abreast of financial regulations, economic trends, and industry developments to proactively assess their potential impact on financial planning and corporate strategy.

Qualifications & Experience

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; a Master’s degree or professional certifications such as CPA or CFA is highly desirable.
• Professional Experience: Minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, with a strong preference for candidates with exposure to large-scale projects or real estate development.
• Leadership & Management: Proven track record in leading finance teams and overseeing end-to-end financial planning processes, demonstrating the ability to drive results in a high-stakes environment.
• Technical Proficiency: Deep expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting techniques, coupled with a strong command of finance-related software and advanced Excel skills.
• Analytical & Communication Skills: Exceptional analytical abilities to interpret complex financial data, paired with outstanding communication and presentation skills to engage stakeholders at all organizational levels.
