Kent is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Site Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Khurais, Saudi Arabia. Your expertise will be instrumental in delivering high-performance solutions that drive our mission to provide responsible energy solutions worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

In this critical role, you will be responsible for a wide range of mechanical engineering tasks, including but not limited to:

• Design Review and Compliance: Thoroughly review mechanical design packages, encompassing piping systems, static equipment, rotating equipment, HVAC systems, firefighting systems, and utility systems to ensure adherence to project specifications and industry standards.
• Engineering Deliverables: Develop and prepare essential mechanical engineering deliverables, such as mechanical datasheets, equipment layouts, piping layouts, isometric drawings, material take-offs (MTO), and comprehensive technical reports.
• Code and Standard Compliance: Ensure all engineering designs and documents strictly comply with Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards, ASME, API, ASTM, NFPA, and other applicable international codes and regulations.
• Vendor and Documentation Review: Evaluate vendor documents, shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and manufacturer data to verify compliance with project specifications and contractual requirements.
• Procurement Support: Prepare and manage procurement documents, including Material Take-Offs (MTO), Material Requisitions (MR), and Technical Bid Evaluations (TBE), to facilitate seamless procurement processes.
• Documentation and Reporting: Generate redline markups, weld maps, and as-built documentation, including I-Plant requirements, to maintain accurate project records. Identify and report technical issues or deviations, preparing technical queries as necessary to resolve challenges proactively.
• Methodology and Procedures: Assist in the preparation of reports, method statements, and work procedures to ensure operational excellence and adherence to safety and quality protocols.
• Software Proficiency: Demonstrate proficiency in industry-standard software tools, including AutoCAD, MicroStation, and SolidWorks, to enhance design accuracy and efficiency.

Your Qualifications and Experience

• Educational Background: A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, design standards, and industry best practices, with a focus on energy sector applications.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional proficiency in both oral and written English, enabling effective collaboration with global teams, stakeholders, and clients.
• Problem-Solving and Leadership: Demonstrated ability to interpret complex business challenges, provide expert guidance, and recommend best practices to enhance processes and services. As a senior leader, you will be expected to drive innovation and continuous improvement within the team.
