Role Overview

We are seeking an accomplished and visionary Vice President of Treasury to lead our Treasury function within a dynamic fintech organization based in Saudi Arabia. This pivotal role will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of treasury operations, including liquidity management, risk mitigation, investment strategies, and financial planning. Key Responsibilities

• Liquidity and Cash Flow Management: Develop and implement robust liquidity management strategies to ensure optimal cash positioning, including forecasting, cash flow analysis, and working capital optimization. Oversee daily cash operations to maintain financial stability and support business growth.
• Risk Management and Compliance: Establish and enforce comprehensive risk management frameworks to identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks, including market, credit, and operational risks. Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements, including SAMA (Saudi Central Bank) guidelines and international financial standards.
• Investment and Portfolio Management: Lead the investment strategy for surplus funds, balancing risk and return to maximize yield while preserving capital. Collaborate with senior leadership to align treasury investments with the company’s long-term financial objectives.
• Strategic Financial Planning: Partner with the CFO and executive team to integrate treasury strategies into the broader financial planning and analysis (FP&A) process. Provide critical insights and recommendations to support capital allocation, funding decisions, and M&A activities.
• Fintech and Digital Innovation: Leverage cutting-edge fintech solutions to enhance treasury operations, including automation, blockchain, and AI-driven financial tools. Stay ahead of industry trends to drive digital transformation within the treasury function.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a key liaison between the treasury department and internal stakeholders, including finance, operations, and executive leadership. Build strong relationships with banking partners, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies to foster collaboration and secure favorable terms.
• Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing treasury team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and innovation. Ensure the team is equipped with the skills and tools necessary to deliver exceptional results.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field. An MBA, CFA, or other advanced certification is highly desirable.
• Professional Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in treasury management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Prior experience in the fintech, banking, or financial services sector is preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in treasury management systems (TMS), ERP software, and financial modeling tools. Strong understanding of financial markets, instruments, and regulatory frameworks, particularly in the Middle East.
• Leadership and Soft Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, drive strategic initiatives, and influence senior stakeholders. Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills are essential.
