Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Human Resources Business Partner to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will serve as a strategic partner to our organization, providing essential support in talent acquisition, talent management, and human capital services. Your responsibilities will encompass executing HR service activities, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a passion for fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

The Human Resources Business Partner will play a critical role in aligning HR services with the strategic goals of the organization. Your core responsibilities will include:

  • HR Service Delivery: Execute HR service activities such as data entry, data collection, and report development to support talent acquisition, talent management, and HC services in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Policy and Compliance: Ensure all HR activities are performed in strict adherence to approved policies, processes, procedures, and instructions. Maintain compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and standards, including but not limited to Human Capital (HC), Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE), Risk Management, and Cybersecurity.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in systems, practices, cost optimization, and productivity enhancements. Proactively escalate issues to ensure timely resolution and efficient case management.
  • Talent Acquisition Support: Assist in internal and external hiring activities by coordinating with recruitment agencies and platforms. Collect and analyze regional recruitment data to develop requirements reports that inform decision-making processes.
  • Job Offer Development: Support the creation of job offers for selected candidates by ensuring all relevant information and position requirements are clearly presented. Collaborate with hiring managers to streamline the onboarding process.
  • Onboarding and Induction: Conduct induction sessions for new joiners to introduce organizational culture, values, management structures, location-specific details, policies, and procedures. Collect and manage all necessary documentation for new employees, including system registration, security clearances, office space allocation, IT tool requests, and work-related equipment provision.
  • Performance Management: Participate in employee performance evaluations by initiating reviews and appraisals, consolidating performance results, conducting basic analysis, and presenting findings with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Compensation and Benefits Administration: Support the implementation of compensation and benefits schemes to ensure fairness, equity, and alignment with organizational policies and market standards.
  • Training and Development: Assess training needs in the region and draft comprehensive training plans and budgets in compliance with established policies and regulations. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective execution of training initiatives.
  • Payroll and Benefits Processing: Assist in payroll activities, benefits transactions processing, and the continuous updating of records in the HR system to maintain accuracy and timeliness.
  • HR Information Systems (HRIS): Integrate and maintain records and data related to regional employees in the HRIS, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
  • Employee Relations: Administer employee relations by managing contract renewals, tracking leave balances, coordinating health insurance, and addressing grievances to foster a positive work environment.

Qualifications and Requirements

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications and requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: 0 to 2 years of relevant experience in human resources or a related discipline. Prior experience in HR service delivery, talent acquisition, or employee relations is highly desirable.
  • Skills and Competencies:
    • Strong organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
    • Proficiency in data analysis and report generation to support decision-making processes.
    • Familiarity with HR policies, labor laws, and compliance requirements.
    • Technical proficiency in HR information systems (HRIS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Problem-solving mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement and process optimization.
