Data Center Engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Professional Technician to join our dynamic team, specializing in emergency and standard IT support across the Riyad region. This role is ideal for a contractor who thrives in fast-paced technical environments, particularly within data centers, and is comfortable working autonomously across multiple sites. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing our IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations and rapid resolution of technical challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Hardware Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Execute hands-on break/fix operations for server hardware, with a focus on HP and Dell systems, to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
• Networking and Cabling Expertise: Demonstrate proficiency in managing and troubleshooting network infrastructure, including switches from Arista and Cisco, as well as structured cabling systems such as UTP, Fibre MM, and Fibre SM.
• Versatile Support Delivery: Provide comprehensive IT support across both data center and office environments, adapting to diverse technical requirements and operational demands.
• Client Interaction and Communication: Engage with clients professionally, offering clear and effective communication in both English and Arabic to facilitate seamless interactions and issue resolution.
• Site Mobility and Logistics: Ensure reliable transportation between sites with a valid driver's license and personal vehicle, enabling timely and efficient support delivery.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must possess a robust technical skill set and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Ideal applicants will have hands-on experience in data center operations, a deep understanding of server hardware and networking principles, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Fluency in both English and Arabic is essential for effective client communication, while a valid driver's license and access to reliable transport are mandatory for site mobility.
