Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Finance Manager to join our dynamic team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This pivotal role is designed for a finance professional with a proven track record in manufacturing finance, with a specific focus on the lubricants and industrial oils manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in financial planning, budgeting, cost control, financial reporting, and strategic business partnering to drive operational and financial excellence within our organization.

Key Responsibilities

The Finance Manager will play a critical leadership role in overseeing all financial operations and ensuring the financial health of the business. The responsibilities of this position include:

  • Financial Leadership: Lead the finance function, overseeing accounting operations, financial planning, and strategic financial management to support business objectives.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop, manage, and monitor annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans to align with organizational goals and market conditions.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and provide data-driven recommendations to enhance profitability and operational efficiency.
  • Cost Management: Oversee manufacturing costing, inventory valuation, standard costing, and cost analysis to ensure accurate product costing and efficient production processes.
  • Cash Flow & Treasury: Manage cash flow, working capital, and treasury activities to optimize liquidity and financial stability.
  • Compliance & Controls: Ensure adherence to local regulatory requirements, tax obligations, and robust internal financial controls to mitigate risks and maintain integrity.
  • Audit Coordination: Facilitate internal and external audits, ensuring timely resolution of findings and continuous improvement in financial governance.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Production teams to drive operational efficiencies, process improvements, and financial performance enhancements.
  • Strategic Decision Support: Provide senior management and executive leadership with insightful financial reports and presentations to support informed strategic business decisions.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring the delivery of exceptional financial services.

Requirements & Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Professional Certification: CPA, CMA, ACCA, SOCPA, or an equivalent professional certification is highly preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7–10 years of progressive finance experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.
  • Industry Expertise: Mandatory experience in the manufacturing industry, with hands-on expertise in the lubricants and industrial oils manufacturing sector.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of manufacturing finance, product costing, inventory valuation, standard costing, and cost accounting. Proficiency in IFRS, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and internal controls is essential.
  • ERP Proficiency: Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms.
  • Technical Competencies: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Power BI or similar business intelligence tools is advantageous.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical, leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external partners.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is considered a valuable asset.
