Medical Representative - Riyadh

Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Medical Representative to join our team in Riyadh. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the primary liaison between Hikma Pharmaceuticals and healthcare professionals, including doctors, pharmacists, and hospital medical teams. Your mission will be to drive awareness and adoption of Hikma’s pharmaceutical and medical products through strategic sales and marketing initiatives. You will operate under the guidance of a Supervisor or Manager, executing field activities to meet and exceed sales targets while ensuring compliance with company guidelines and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Sales and Target Achievement: Review and analyze sales targets, performance metrics, and activity records to assess progress toward goals. Develop and implement strategies to meet or exceed these targets through effective customer engagement and product promotion.
• Customer Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong professional relationships with healthcare providers, including doctors, pharmacists, and hospital teams. Organize and facilitate appointments, meetings, and educational events to inform and persuade stakeholders about the benefits of Hikma’s products.
• Product Awareness and Education: Enhance the visibility and understanding of Hikma’s product portfolio by continuously updating your knowledge and sharing relevant information with healthcare professionals. Stay informed about product updates, clinical data, and market trends to effectively communicate value propositions.
• Market Intelligence and Prospecting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of existing customers while actively identifying and engaging with new prospects. Monitor competitor activities, product launches, and market dynamics to anticipate opportunities and threats, ensuring a competitive edge.
• Territory Management: Ensure optimal coverage of your assigned territory by planning and executing field visits, monitoring product availability, and addressing any supply or logistical challenges. Provide timely feedback and reports to your supervisor or manager to support data-driven decision-making.
• Compliance and Reporting: Adhere strictly to company policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards in all interactions and activities. Prepare and submit accurate sales documentation, performance reports, and feedback as requested, ensuring transparency and accountability.

Qualifications and Requirements

To excel in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and attributes:

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B.S. in Pharmacy) is required. Additional certifications or training in sales, marketing, or healthcare-related fields are advantageous.
• Experience: A minimum of 0 to 2 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical sales, medical representative roles, or a related field is preferred. Prior exposure to the healthcare industry, particularly in Riyadh or the broader Saudi market, is highly desirable.
• Skills and Competencies:
