Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities

The Data Analyst will play a multifaceted role, encompassing both analytical and operational responsibilities. Your core duties will include:

• Data Analysis and Interpretation: Analyze and interpret complex data sets to extract actionable insights, identify trends, and provide data-driven recommendations to support business objectives.
• Reporting and Visualization: Develop comprehensive reports, interactive dashboards, and data visualizations using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders at all levels.
• Data Quality and Governance: Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data through rigorous quality checks, adherence to data governance best practices, and participation in compliance audits.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, operations, and executive leadership, to understand data requirements, align on objectives, and deliver tailored solutions that meet organizational needs.
• Statistical Analysis and Modeling: Conduct advanced statistical analysis and predictive modeling to forecast trends, assess risks, and support strategic planning initiatives.
• System Administration and Performance Monitoring: Oversee the performance and availability of systems and networks, implementing monitoring tools and procedures to ensure optimal operation and minimal downtime.
• System Upgrades and Integration: Plan, test, and implement upgrades for information systems, as well as integrate new software applications into existing infrastructure to enhance functionality and efficiency.
  • Backup and Disaster Recovery: Develop and implement robust backup and disaster recovery procedures to safeguard critical data and ensure business continuity in the event of system failures or cyber threats.
• Technical Documentation: Maintain accurate, organized, and accessible technical documentation for all systems, processes, and procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and future reference.
• Leadership and Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the organization.

Qualifications and Requirements

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field is required.
• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in Information Technology, Data Analysis, or a closely related discipline, with a proven track record of delivering data-driven solutions in a corporate environment.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, R, or similar programming languages.
  • Experience with data visualization platforms, including Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio.
  • Strong knowledge of system administration, including the design, implementation, and maintenance of mission-critical systems.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools and techniques to assess system performance and availability.
  • Expertise in developing and implementing backup and disaster recovery procedures.
• Soft Skills:
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities to address complex technical challenges and business requirements.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent organizational and documentation skills to maintain clear and accessible records.
  • Leadership qualities, including the ability to mentor team members and collaborate effectively across departments.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in written and spoken English is essential. Proficiency in Arabic is preferred but not mandatory.
• Certifications (Preferred): While not mandatory, the following certifications will be considered advantageous:
  • Certified Analytics Professional (CAP)
  • Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate
  • Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP)
  • Google Business Intelligence Professional
