Key Responsibilities

The Washer Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining washing equipment to ensure optimal performance and adherence to production schedules. Your core duties will include:

• Equipment Operation: Efficiently operate washing machines and related equipment to clean and prepare materials for further processing.
• Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and minor repairs to ensure machinery operates at peak efficiency.
• Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), to maintain a secure working environment.
• Quality Control: Monitor and verify the cleanliness and quality of washed materials to meet industry standards and client specifications.
• Inventory Management: Track and manage inventory levels of cleaning agents, spare parts, and other consumables to avoid shortages.
• Time Management: Work efficiently to meet production deadlines while maintaining high standards of accuracy and precision.
• Communication: Collaborate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
• Attention to Detail: Maintain meticulous records of production activities, equipment performance, and maintenance logs.
• Physical Stamina: Perform physically demanding tasks, including standing for extended periods, lifting, and operating machinery controls.

Qualifications and Experience

To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Education: A diploma, ITI certification, or completion of 10th grade in a relevant field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in operating washing equipment, preferably within can manufacturing industries.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in machine operation, equipment maintenance, and familiarity with safety procedures and quality control measures.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication abilities, attention to detail, and the physical stamina required for the role.
