Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In this pivotal role, you will lead moderately complex engineering projects, overseeing all phases from inception to completion while ensuring strict adherence to scope, schedule, and budget. This position demands a strategic leader capable of managing diverse challenges, including regional projects, multi-disciplinary collaborations, and projects with unique complexities such as litigation support, environmental protection, or due diligence. You will serve as a mentor to junior and mid-level engineers, fostering technical excellence and professional growth, while maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring compliance with KSA regulations and international standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Leadership: Manage one or more moderately complex projects, including those with a regional geographic footprint, multi-service collaborations, or specialized requirements such as litigation or environmental compliance. Oversee all project phases—from initial planning to final closeout—while ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and budgetary constraints.
• Team Supervision and Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and supervision to senior-level engineers across relevant disciplines, as well as project administration, controls, scheduling, cost management, estimating, and procurement teams. Mentor junior and mid-level staff to cultivate technical expertise and career advancement.
• Quality Assurance and Compliance: Conduct rigorous quality assurance reviews and technical audits to ensure adherence to engineering standards, KSA building codes, environmental regulations, and contractual obligations. Identify and mitigate risks to prevent delays, cost overruns, and technical challenges.
• Client and Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, delivering regular project updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring high levels of satisfaction throughout project delivery. Foster long-term relationships to secure future business opportunities.
• Budget and Resource Optimization: Oversee budget allocation, resource planning, and cost control measures to maximize project profitability and operational efficiency. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery methodologies and team performance.
• Documentation and Reporting: Prepare comprehensive project documentation, reports, and deliverables for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability at every stage.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and experience:

• Education: A Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline is required. A Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of professional engineering experience, with at least 3 years working in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Proven track record in managing moderately complex projects, including multi-phase execution from inception to closeout. Experience supervising engineering teams and project support staff is essential.
• Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of KSA building codes, regulations, and local engineering standards. Familiarity with litigation support, environmental protection, or due diligence projects is a plus.
• Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
