About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented HR & Administration Officer to join our team in the Eastern Region. This full-time, on-site position is designed to support the seamless operation of our HR and administrative functions, ensuring compliance with company policies and labor regulations while fostering a productive and inclusive workplace. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in managing employee records, facilitating recruitment and onboarding processes, and implementing HR policies that align with organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- HR Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day HR activities, including maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records, coordinating recruitment efforts, and managing onboarding and induction programs to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
- Policy Implementation & Compliance: Develop, implement, and enforce HR policies in accordance with labor laws and company standards. Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal procedures to mitigate risks and maintain organizational integrity.
- Employee Relations & Engagement: Serve as a trusted point of contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and conflict resolution. Promote a positive work culture by fostering open communication, addressing grievances, and supporting initiatives that enhance employee satisfaction and retention.
- Job Description Development: Collaborate with department heads to create, review, and update job descriptions, ensuring clarity in roles, responsibilities, and required competencies. Align these descriptions with organizational goals to support talent acquisition and performance management.
- Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative assistance, including coordinating office services, preparing reports, and maintaining efficient workflows. Ensure that all HR and administrative processes are executed with precision and professionalism.
- Government Platforms & Compliance: Demonstrate proficiency in using government platforms such as Muqeem, Qiwa, Mudad, and other relevant systems to ensure compliance with local labor regulations and reporting requirements.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with management and staff across departments to align HR strategies with business objectives. Act as a liaison to ensure seamless communication and collaboration between HR and other functional areas.
Qualifications & Skills
To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and attributes:
- Education & Experience: A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required. Alternatively, equivalent professional experience in HR management will be considered. Experience in an engineering, construction, or energy-related environment is advantageous but not mandatory.
- HR Expertise: A strong foundation in HR principles, including recruitment, employee relations, policy development, and compliance. Ability to design and implement HR strategies that support organizational growth and employee development.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with government platforms such as Muqeem, Qiwa, Mudad is essential. Proficiency in HR software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools is preferred.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail, discretion in handling confidential information, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Work Environment: Ability to work on-site in the Eastern Region and collaborate effectively with diverse teams. Commitment to maintaining a safe, inclusive, and productive workplace.
