Junior Software Developer

Key Responsibilities

As a Junior Software Developer, your core responsibilities will include:

• Application Development: Assist in the design, development, testing, and maintenance of scalable web and/or mobile applications, ensuring they meet functional and performance requirements.
• Code Implementation: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in accordance with best practices, adhering to coding standards and guidelines provided by senior team members.
• Code Reviews & Collaboration: Participate actively in code reviews to gain insights into industry best practices, improve code quality, and foster knowledge sharing within the team.
• Cross-Functional Teamwork: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Quality Assurance (QA), User Interface/User Experience (UI/UX) designers, and product managers, to deliver cohesive and user-centric solutions.
• Bug Resolution & Optimization: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs, performance bottlenecks, and other technical issues to enhance application stability and user experience.
• Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and innovative tools to contribute fresh perspectives and drive continuous improvement in development processes.

Required Qualifications & Skills

To excel in this role, you should possess the following competencies:

• Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of at least one programming language, such as JavaScript, Python, Java, C#, or equivalent.
• Framework Familiarity: Experience with front-end or back-end frameworks, including React, Angular, Node.js, Django, .NET, or similar technologies.
• Development Fundamentals: A solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and hands-on experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated ability to analyze complex problems, devise effective solutions, and pay meticulous attention to detail.
• Communication & Teamwork: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with a proactive attitude toward learning and collaboration.
