About the Role

As a Senior Stock Controller, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the inventory management system within designated locations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with company standards. Your responsibilities will include managing a team of stock controllers, providing training and development to enhance their performance, and ensuring all operational duties are executed to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities

• Inventory Management: Oversee the inventory system within assigned locations, ensuring accurate tracking, recording, and reporting of stock levels to prevent shortages or excesses.
• Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of stock controllers, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to improve inventory control processes, implement best practices, and enhance operational efficiency across the organization.
• Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards while maintaining accurate records and generating timely reports for management review.
• Collaboration: Work closely with procurement, logistics, and warehouse teams to streamline supply chain operations and minimize discrepancies in stock levels.

Qualifications and Competencies

To excel in this role, you must meet the following requirements:

• A High School Certificate or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in storekeeping or as a store in charge, with a proven track record in inventory management.
• Fluency in written and spoken English to facilitate clear communication with team members and stakeholders.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing team.
• Demonstrated competencies in decision-making, patience, cooperation, and loyalty to the organization.
• Dedication to maintaining high standards of accuracy, efficiency, and professionalism in all aspects of the role.
