Assistant Manager, Medical Representation

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Assistant Manager, Medical Representation to join our esteemed team at Nestlé in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. In this pivotal role, you will serve as a trusted medical advisor, promoting Nestlé’s commitment to infant nutrition while ensuring compliance with the highest ethical standards. Your primary responsibility will be to ethically detail our Infant Nutrition products to medical and paramedical professionals within your assigned territory, providing accurate, evidence-based information about their features, benefits, and appropriate use—particularly in cases where mothers are unable or choose not to breastfeed. This role operates under the stringent guidelines of NME Nutrition, the WHO International Code of Marketing of Breast-Milk Substitutes, Nestlé’s Instructions, and local regulatory frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Ethical Promotion and Education: Champion Nestlé’s belief that breastfeeding is the optimal choice for infants while providing reliable, scientific information on infant nutrition and feeding practices to medical and paramedical professionals. Your role is to empower healthcare providers with the knowledge they need to make informed decisions for their patients.
• Scientific Engagement: Organize and execute medical or paramedical scientific meetings focused on product knowledge, nutrition, or related topics. This includes coordinating sponsorships, inviting guest lecturers, and ensuring these events align with Nestlé’s educational objectives and compliance standards.
• Market Intelligence and Competitor Analysis: Proactively monitor and report on competitor activities within your territory. Track new competitor products, their communication strategies, and market trends to identify opportunities and threats, ensuring Nestlé remains at the forefront of infant nutrition innovation.
• Administrative Excellence: Maintain meticulous records of all correspondence, interactions, and activities conducted during daily operations. Ensure compliance with documentation requirements and regulatory standards.
• Relationship Management: Develop and maintain a comprehensive master list of contacts in your assigned territory. Classify these contacts based on their level of interest and importance, and regularly update call records to reflect ongoing engagements and follow-ups.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, you must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Science, Medicine, Nutrition, or Biology. While prior experience as a Medical Delegate is highly desirable, we also welcome candidates with a strong academic background and a passion for medical representation.
