Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Finance to lead the financial operations of the Four Seasons Hotel Madinah, Saudi Arabia. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all financial activities, ensuring the hotel’s fiscal health, compliance with regulatory standards, and alignment with the brand’s global financial objectives. Key Responsibilities

• Financial Leadership: Provide strategic direction and oversight for all financial functions, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and cost management, to ensure the hotel’s profitability and sustainability.
• Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Financial Planning & Analysis: Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans, including annual budgets, long-term forecasts, and capital expenditure strategies, in collaboration with senior leadership.
• Compliance & Governance: Ensure strict adherence to local and international financial regulations, tax laws, and corporate governance standards, while maintaining transparent and accurate financial records.
• Revenue Optimization: Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and implement strategies to maximize revenue streams, control costs, and enhance profitability.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a trusted financial advisor to the General Manager and other senior leaders, providing data-driven insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
• Technology & Innovation: Leverage financial management systems and emerging technologies to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and enhance reporting capabilities.
• Risk Management: Identify financial risks, implement mitigation strategies, and ensure the hotel’s financial resilience in a dynamic and competitive market.

Qualifications & Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; an MBA or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, or CFA) is highly desirable.
• A minimum of 10 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the hospitality or luxury service industry.
• Proven expertise in financial management, including budgeting, financial analysis, and strategic planning, with a track record of driving financial growth and operational efficiency.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and manage cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
• In-depth knowledge of local and international financial regulations, tax laws, and corporate governance standards.
• Proficiency in financial software (e.g., ERP systems, BI tools) and advanced Excel skills.
