Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Product Inspection: Perform meticulous inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to verify compliance with established quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of inspection results, deviations, and corrective actions in compliance with Almarai’s quality management systems. Prepare detailed reports for management to support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Process Monitoring: Collaborate with production teams to monitor manufacturing processes, identify potential quality issues, and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and product integrity.
• Compliance and Standards: Ensure adherence to local and international quality standards, including ISO, HACCP, and other relevant certifications. Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry best practices to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Defect Identification and Resolution: Conduct root cause analysis for quality discrepancies and work closely with cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to eliminate recurring issues.
• Equipment and Tool Verification: Inspect and calibrate measuring instruments, tools, and equipment to ensure they meet precision and accuracy requirements for quality control processes.
• Training and Support: Provide guidance and training to production staff on quality standards, inspection techniques, and best practices to foster a culture of quality awareness throughout the organization.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must possess a combination of technical expertise, analytical skills, and a strong commitment to quality. The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

• Education: A diploma or degree in Quality Control, Engineering, Food Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications such as CQA (Certified Quality Auditor) or similar credentials are highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food and beverage industry. Hands-on experience with quality management systems and regulatory compliance is essential.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with quality control tools and methodologies, including statistical process control (SPC), failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), and root cause analysis (RCA). Proficiency in using inspection equipment and software for data collection and reporting.
• Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail to identify trends, anomalies, and potential quality risks. Ability to interpret data and make informed decisions to drive continuous improvement.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, report findings, and provide training. Fluency in English and Arabic is preferred.
