Key Requirements

To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Citizenship: Saudi national with valid Saudi citizenship.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from a recognized institution.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 to 4 years of relevant accounting experience, with a preference for candidates who have worked within the FMCG sector.
• Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and reconciliations. Experience with accounting software such as SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems is highly desirable.
• Software Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create complex financial models and perform data analysis.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical abilities, and the capacity to work effectively under pressure while meeting strict deadlines.
• Language Proficiency: Fluent in English, both written and spoken, with the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and concisely.
• Organizational Abilities: Strong communication and organizational skills to collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.

Core Responsibilities

The Accountant will play a pivotal role in maintaining the financial health of our organization by performing a wide range of duties, including:

• Financial Reporting: Preparing and reviewing accurate financial statements, reports, and reconciliations to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
• Accounts Management: Managing accounts payable and receivable, as well as maintaining the general ledger with precision and timeliness.
• Month-End and Year-End Closing: Leading and supporting the month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring adherence to local financial regulations, tax laws, and internal financial controls to mitigate risks and maintain audit readiness.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Assisting in the preparation of budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Coordinating with internal teams, external auditors, and regulatory bodies to facilitate smooth financial operations and audits.
