Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Fire & Security Systems Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and optimizing the performance of our state-of-the-art security systems. Your responsibilities will include:

• System Maintenance and Operations: Perform comprehensive operation and maintenance activities for Edwards EST3/EST4 fire alarm systems, ensuring uninterrupted functionality and compliance with industry standards.
• Preventive and Corrective Maintenance: Execute scheduled preventive maintenance tasks and address corrective maintenance issues to minimize downtime and enhance system reliability.
• Troubleshooting and Diagnostics: Diagnose and resolve faults at the device, loop, and system levels within fire alarm networks, utilizing advanced troubleshooting techniques to restore optimal performance.
• Security System Integration: Maintain and support integrated security systems, including CCTV (IP-based), Access Control (Lenel/ATS), and Intrusion Detection Systems, ensuring seamless interoperability and functionality.
• Centralized Monitoring: Monitor and investigate alarms from centralized systems, coordinating responses to ensure timely and effective resolution of security incidents.
• System Integration Support: Facilitate the integration of fire and security systems, ensuring compatibility and alignment with project requirements and operational needs.
• Field Team Collaboration: Provide technical support to field teams (ML1) and coordinate with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and vendors (ML3) to resolve complex system issues and ensure project continuity.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain meticulous records, logs, and technical reports to document system performance, maintenance activities, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Your Ideal Profile

To excel in this role, you will bring a blend of technical expertise and hands-on experience in fire and security systems. We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications and skills:

• Educational Background: A Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Professional Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in fire and security systems, with a strong emphasis on Edwards EST3/EST4 fire alarm systems.
• Technical Proficiency: Proven experience with integrated security systems, including CCTV (IP-based), Access Control (Lenel/ATS), and Intrusion Detection Systems, as well as control room operations.
• System Integration Knowledge: In-depth understanding of system integration principles, alarm management, and networking protocols such as TCP/IP, RS-485, and fiber systems.
• Operational Resilience: Ability to thrive in 24/7 critical operations environments, demonstrating strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Industry Certifications: Experience in railway, metro, or large infrastructure projects is highly desirable. Certifications in Edwards (EST), NFPA, or Lenel are considered a significant advantage.
