The Store Manager, also known as the Universe Manager, plays a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Decathlon store, ensuring exceptional customer service and efficient management of the sales floor. This dynamic role involves a blend of leadership, strategic planning, and hands-on execution to drive sales growth and maintain high standards of visual merchandising.

• Leadership & Team Management: Prepare schedules, set goals, manage performance, and motivate employees to achieve peak performance. Foster a customer-centric culture and ensure high-quality customer service.
• Commercial Strategy & Planning: Develop a commercial policy, seasonal layout plans, and annual campaign timetables to maximize sales and profitability. Monitor sales figures, inventory, and profit and loss reports to ensure weekly and seasonal targets are met.
• Stock Management & Merchandising: Monitor stock levels continuously, manage inventories, and reorder merchandise to ensure adequate stock and maximum product range and size availability. Maintain high standards of visual merchandising and store presentation.
• Customer Engagement & Communication: Greet customers, ensure timely service, and communicate shop events and promotions through social media. Liaise with wholesale customers and local sports clubs to boost brand awareness and sales.
• Operational Management: Oversee the shipment reception process, communicate with local suppliers, negotiate prices, and report operational issues as needed.
