Role Overview
As the Communication Research and Analysis Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing ZATCA’s communication strategies by leading data-driven research, performance analysis, and strategic planning. You will oversee the development and implementation of comprehensive communication initiatives designed to enhance awareness, engagement, and participation in ZATCA’s services. Your leadership will ensure alignment with corporate objectives while driving measurable impact through innovative research methodologies, performance tracking, and proactive risk management.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership and Planning
You will contribute to the formulation of ZATCA’s Awareness business plan by ensuring alignment with the organization’s overarching strategy. This includes developing and executing the operational plan for the Communication Research and Analysis function, integrating insights from global and local research to refine communication strategies. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement initiatives that support ZATCA’s strategic goals, ensuring that all communication efforts are data-informed and results-driven.
Budget Management and Financial Stewardship
You will engage with senior leadership to assess and justify the budgetary requirements for the Communication Research and Analysis function. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the efficient allocation and utilization of resources, while also identifying opportunities to enhance financial performance through cost-effective initiatives. Additionally, you will monitor budgetary progress, report on financial performance, and propose strategies to mitigate risks while maximizing the return on investment for communication campaigns and research projects.
Data Collection, Analysis, and Insights
You will lead the design and execution of research and benchmarking studies to identify emerging trends, best practices, and innovative approaches in communication strategy. This includes analyzing customer behavior, segment insights, and market dynamics to inform the development of targeted marketing strategies. Your role will also involve managing the evaluation of new tools and methodologies to support decision-making, as well as overseeing the identification and acquisition of prestigious certifications and awards that elevate ZATCA’s reputation.
Campaign Planning, Performance Management, and Reporting
You will develop and oversee the execution of ZATCA’s communication strategy, ensuring that all initiatives are aligned with organizational objectives. This includes crafting annual plans for advertisement and marketing campaigns, defining clear objectives, implementation roadmaps, and target audience strategies. Your responsibilities will extend to setting and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of communication activities across all platforms. You will conduct continuous assessments of campaign performance, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions to optimize outcomes. Additionally, you will proactively manage potential media crises by developing rapid response plans in coordination with relevant stakeholders, ensuring timely resolution of discrepancies and maintaining ZATCA’s reputation.
Stakeholder Engagement and Sentiment Analysis
You will enhance both internal and external communication by analyzing data from diverse channels to gain deeper insights into stakeholder perceptions. This includes preparing detailed personality analysis reports for high-profile events, such as Governor’s receptions and ceremonies, as well as conducting sentiment analysis on announcements and regulatory updates to gauge public opinion and feedback. Your role will ensure that ZATCA’s messaging resonates effectively with its audiences while fostering a culture of continuous improvement in communication practices.
Qualifications and Experience
Education
- A Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field is required.
- A Master’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or an equivalent discipline is highly preferred.
Professional Experience
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Proven track record in leading communication research, strategic planning, and performance analysis within a corporate or public sector environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in budget management, risk mitigation, and stakeholder engagement.
