Key Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in our organization by fulfilling the following responsibilities:

- Collaborative Patient Care: Work closely with optometrists, opticians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated and holistic eye care, ensuring seamless coordination and communication across departments.
- On-Call and Emergency Services: Participate in on-call rotations and respond to urgent eye care cases, demonstrating a commitment to patient safety and timely intervention in critical situations.
- Medical Documentation: Maintain precise and up-to-date medical records, including patient histories, examination findings, treatment plans, and follow-up care, in compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
- Continuing Education: Stay abreast of the latest advancements in ophthalmology through ongoing professional development, attending conferences, workshops, and engaging in peer-reviewed research to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
Requirements
To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Professional Certification: Hold a valid Professional Classification Certificate in Ophthalmology, demonstrating compliance with regulatory and licensing requirements.
- Clinical Experience: Proven experience in diagnosing and managing a wide spectrum of eye conditions, with a strong foundation in both medical and surgical ophthalmology.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with advanced diagnostic equipment and technologies used in ophthalmic examinations, such as slit lamps, fundus cameras, optical coherence tomography (OCT), and visual field analyzers.
