DPA Manager - Lead and Drive Safety Excellence in Our Maritime Operations

The DPA Manager is a pivotal role that ensures our company's commitment to safety, quality, health, and environmental (QHSE) standards is upheld across all maritime operations. As the Designated Person Ashore (DPA), you will serve as the critical link between our shore management and vessel operations, fostering a robust safety culture and driving continuous improvement in our Safety Management System (SMS).

• Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and oversee the QHSE performance of the department and team members, aligning with departmental and individual objectives.
• Ensure the continual development and compliance of our SMS, DOC, client contractual requirements, and maritime industry standards.
• Maintain our annual DOC, managing audit preparations and adherence to compliance protocols.
• Oversee QHSSE Department operations at Tanajib, ensuring effective policy implementation and QHSE objectives.
• Stay current with industry regulations, client requirements, and company protocols, integrating changes into operational systems.
• Develop, implement, and maintain QHSE manuals, SMS, and Maritime Operational Manuals.
• Serve as our Quality Administrator, ensuring compliance with client expectations, international legislation, and internal quality standards.
• Provide practical systems and procedures for offshore vessels and departmental operations, minimizing risks to ALARP through proactive risk management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Studies, Marine Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Master Mariner Certificate of Competency (COC) - Valid and recognized by relevant authorities.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in the maritime industry, preferably with offshore support vessels or similar operations.
• Minimum 4 Years of offshore experience as Captain.
• Proven managerial experience with strong leadership and supervisory skills in a marine or QHSE environment.
