Access Management Supervisor

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Access Management Supervisor to lead our IT security access governance initiatives. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of IT security access policies, procedures, and operational standards. Your expertise will drive the protection of our IT environment while ensuring compliance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements. This position requires a strategic leader capable of managing complex access management operations, analyzing performance metrics, and providing actionable recommendations to mitigate risks and enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

The Access Management Supervisor will play a critical role in safeguarding our digital assets by executing the following responsibilities:

• IT Security Access Management:
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends in IT security access management and translate business requirements into robust access control policies, procedures, and guidelines aligned with ZATCA standards.
  • Ensure adherence to operational standards for identity, authentication, and authorization across networks, systems, applications, and devices.
  • Manage the complete lifecycle of user identities, including the collection, documentation, and administration of access rights throughout their tenure.
  • Process and authorize access requests, modifications, or restrictions in alignment with technical workflows and business needs, providing 24/7 support for access management operations.
  • Handle IT security access incidents and escalated tickets with urgency, prioritizing resolutions in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to minimize operational disruptions.
  • Evaluate change requests related to IT security access, conduct comprehensive impact analyses, and implement approved changes while measuring their effectiveness and outcomes.
  • Monitor access to critical systems, devices, and applications, identify anomalies, and generate detailed reports with actionable recommendations to address security gaps.
  • Collect and analyze performance metrics against established KPIs, identify deviations, and develop corrective action plans to mitigate IT security access risks proactively.
• Organization and Operations:
  • Ensure all operational activities comply with established policies, processes, and standard operating procedures to maintain consistency and control.
  • Provide expert guidance to junior team members, assisting in problem resolution and ensuring efficient workflow execution.
  • Escalate complex issues to senior management or relevant stakeholders to ensure timely and effective resolution of critical cases.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the broader objectives of the IT security and access management function.
• People Management:
  • Mentor and train junior staff to enhance their technical competencies and ensure the seamless transfer of knowledge within the team.
  • Provide clear direction, prioritize tasks, and delegate responsibilities effectively to optimize team performance and productivity.
  • Support direct reports in executing their duties in accordance with organizational policies and established processes to foster a high-performing team culture.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
  • Master’s degree in Information Technology Management, Computer Science, Business Administration, or an equivalent discipline is highly preferred.
• Experience:
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in IT security, access management, or a closely related field is essential.
  • At least 3 years of managerial experience is preferred, demonstrating leadership in driving operational excellence and team development.
