Position Overview

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker Order Picker to join our dynamic team in Jeddah. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the efficient and accurate fulfillment of orders by meticulously picking items while adhering to strict quality, quantity, and safety standards. Your responsibilities will include maintaining product integrity, optimizing container utilization, and supporting warehouse operations to meet daily productivity targets. This position requires a high level of accuracy, adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Order Picking Accuracy: Select the correct Stock Keeping Units (SKUs) and quantities from designated locations while ensuring compliance with Quality Assurance (QA) rules to prevent errors in order fulfillment.
• Product Handling and Safety: Handle products with care to avoid damage during the picking process. Strictly adhere to guidelines to prevent the selection of expired or near-expiry items, ensuring all products meet regulatory and company standards.
• Container and Tote Organization: Arrange items within totes, cartons, or lift units in a manner that maximizes container utilization and facilitates efficient receiving, particularly in pharmacy settings. Ensure all totes and cartons are properly labeled with printed labels before submission.
• Inventory Management: Immediately report any stock shortages or empty picking locations to the replenishment team to maintain seamless operations. Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records to support warehouse efficiency.
• Performance and Productivity: Achieve daily productivity targets as outlined by management. Your picking accuracy will directly impact your performance appraisal, making attention to detail a critical component of this role.
• Housekeeping and Safety: Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment in compliance with company housekeeping standards. Adhere to all safety procedures, including the proper use of tools and equipment, to ensure a secure workplace for yourself and your colleagues.
• Compliance and SOPs: Follow all approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for various picking types and applications. Stay updated with any additional instructions or changes communicated by direct superiors to ensure operational consistency.
• Collaboration and Flexibility: Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to support warehouse operations. Be prepared to perform other duties as assigned to contribute to the overall success of the team.

Work Environment and Schedule

The Warehouse Worker Order Picker will operate in an indoor warehouse setting, with no outdoor responsibilities. The position follows a structured schedule of six working days per week, with one designated day off. Working hours are from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, providing a consistent and predictable routine.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience: Minimum of one year of relevant experience in warehouse operations, order picking, or a similar role is preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in using smart devices and RF scanners to execute picking tasks efficiently. Basic computer skills are also necessary to support operational tasks.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in Arabic and English is required to ensure clear communication with team members and supervisors.
