The Project Lead is a critical role responsible for driving the successful execution of instrumentation, control, electrical, and automation projects from inception to completion. This involves ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction.

The Project Lead serves as the primary point of contact, coordinating with clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders to ensure efficient project delivery and effective communication. Key responsibilities include:

• Project Management: Lead and manage projects throughout their lifecycle, from planning to execution and close-out. Develop project execution plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies. Monitor project progress, budgets, schedules, and deliverables.
• Client & Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary client contact, ensuring timely communication and high levels of satisfaction. Coordinate technical clarifications, inspections, and project reviews.
• Project Planning & Cost Control: Monitor project costs, support project estimating, and coordinate billing and collections. Track project KPIs and prepare regular progress reports.
• Leadership & Team Management: Lead and supervise project teams, coordinate cross-functional teams, and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline, with a minimum of 7-10 years of project management experience in industrial automation, instrumentation, electrical, or EPC projects. PMP certification is highly preferred. Proven experience managing multidisciplinary engineering projects, working with industrial clients, and managing project budgets, procurement activities, scheduling, and client communications is essential.

Strong technical skills in instrumentation, control systems, automation, and MV/LV electrical systems, along with proficiency in project management software like Microsoft Project or Primavera, are required. The ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation, as well as a strong understanding of project planning, procurement, risk management, and cost control, is crucial for this role.
