This pivotal role is designed for a seasoned professional who will lead the development, optimization, and execution of process engineering solutions across a diverse portfolio of projects. Key Responsibilities

In this leadership position, you will be entrusted with the following core responsibilities:

• Technical Leadership: Provide expert guidance and oversight in process engineering, ensuring adherence to industry best practices, regulatory standards, and client-specific requirements. Lead the conceptual design, feasibility studies, and detailed engineering phases of projects.
• Project Execution: Oversee the development of process flow diagrams (PFDs), Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and process safety management (PSM) deliverables. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, civil, and electrical engineers, to integrate process solutions seamlessly into project designs.
• Innovation & Optimization: Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance process efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize environmental impact. Implement cutting-edge technologies and methodologies to optimize plant performance and reliability.
• Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all process designs comply with international codes and standards, such as API, ASME, and ISO. Conduct rigorous hazard and operability (HAZOP) studies, safety instrumented systems (SIS) evaluations, and risk assessments to mitigate potential hazards.
• Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary technical liaison between Worley Parsons and clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies. Present technical proposals, progress reports, and solutions to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with project objectives and business goals.
• Team Mentorship & Development: Foster a culture of excellence by mentoring junior engineers, conducting technical reviews, and promoting professional growth within the team. Support the recruitment and onboarding of top-tier talent to strengthen our capabilities.
• Sustainability & ESG Initiatives: Champion sustainable engineering practices by integrating environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles into project designs. Contribute to initiatives that support decarbonization, energy transition, and circular economy principles.

Qualifications & Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications and experience:

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., PE, CEng) are highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in process engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership or supervisory role. Prior experience in the oil & gas, petrochemical, or energy sectors is essential.
• Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of process simulation software (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, ChemCAD), HAZOP/LOPA methodologies, and process safety management systems. Familiarity with digital twin technologies and Industry 4.0 tools is a plus.
• Leadership & Soft Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, manage complex projects, and communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical audiences. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges are critical.
• Regulatory & Compliance Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of international standards, including API 521, ASME B31.3, and ISO 14001. Experience with local regulatory frameworks in Saudi Arabia is advantageous.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is a valuable asset.
