Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Sales Leadership: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets. Analyze market trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscapes to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
• Team Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing retail team, including sales associates and support staff. Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Customer Experience: Ensure an exceptional shopping experience for every customer by maintaining high standards of service, product knowledge, and store presentation. Address customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and build long-term relationships to drive repeat business and brand loyalty.
• Operational Excellence: Oversee daily store operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and compliance with company policies and procedures. Optimize store layouts to enhance product visibility and accessibility while maintaining a clean, organized, and inviting environment.
• Training and Development: Identify training needs and implement programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of the retail team. Stay updated on industry best practices, product innovations, and sales techniques to ensure the team remains competitive and knowledgeable.
• Financial Management: Monitor and control store expenses, manage budgets, and analyze financial performance to ensure profitability. Collaborate with the finance team to prepare reports, forecast sales, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Brand Representation: Act as a brand ambassador for Sealy Mattress Middle East, embodying the company’s values, mission, and commitment to quality. Represent the brand at industry events, trade shows, and community engagements to enhance visibility and credibility.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certification in retail management is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive retail sales management experience, preferably in the mattress, furniture, or home furnishings industry. Proven success in leading sales teams and achieving revenue targets in a competitive market.
• Leadership: Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse workforce. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Sales Acumen: Deep understanding of sales strategies, customer behavior, and market dynamics. Ability to develop and execute sales plans that drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
• Operational Proficiency: Hands-on experience in retail operations, including inventory control, visual merchandising, and store management. Familiarity with retail software and point-of-sale systems.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with proficiency in data analysis and performance metrics. Ability to interpret sales data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
• Language Skills: Fluency in English and Arabic is highly desirable. Additional language skills are a plus.
