We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Territory Development Supervisor to oversee and optimize sales performance, distribution expansion, and team leadership within a designated territory. Key Responsibilities
Sales & Distribution Leadership
As the Territory Development Supervisor, you will be responsible for achieving and exceeding sales targets across all brand categories within your assigned territory. Your focus will include expanding distribution reach by increasing numeric and weighted coverage across diverse channels such as Traditional Trade (TT), Emerging Trade (ET), Super Stockists (SSV), Wholesale, and more. You will ensure consistent volume achievement while supporting initiatives aimed at growing market share. Additionally, you will proactively track and minimize out-of-stock situations and product expiry to maintain operational efficiency and customer trust.
Team Leadership & Coaching Excellence
This role demands a strong leadership presence, where you will set SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound) sales targets for your sales team and conduct rigorous performance reviews through daily, weekly, and monthly evaluations. You will mentor, train, and develop frontline staff by conducting work-withs, route rides, skill demonstrations, and personalized performance discussions. Your coaching will empower your team to deliver exceptional results while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
Field Execution & Operational Oversight
To ensure seamless execution in the field, you will maintain a strong physical presence in the market, gaining deep insights into customer needs and ensuring adherence to trade fundamentals. You will support core field activities such as delivery readiness, stock rotation, merchandising, Point-of-Sale (POS) deployment, and equipment management. Additionally, you will maintain meticulous records of all coolers installed in your territory, including serial numbers, model types, installation dates, and outlet ownership details, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.
Operations & Strategic Reporting
Your role will encompass managing territory-level operations, including depot oversight, stock availability, and cash/stock reconciliation in alignment with company policies. You will prepare comprehensive sales forecasts, account plans, business reviews, and performance dashboards tailored for internal stakeholders and key customers. Furthermore, you will diligently track customer credit and manage temporary credit for sales personnel to mitigate financial risks and ensure sustainable business practices.
Customer & Stakeholder Engagement
Building and nurturing strong relationships with retailers, eateries, and key accounts will be a cornerstone of your responsibilities. You will identify and develop high-potential clients to unlock new business opportunities and drive expansion. Collaboration with internal teams across sales, supply chain, logistics, marketing, commercial, and finance will be essential to ensure cohesive execution and alignment with organizational goals.
Market Intelligence & Strategic Insights
You will conduct continuous market scanning to monitor competitor pricing, promotions, and activities, providing actionable insights to line managers. By analyzing market trends, customer needs, and territory performance, you will identify opportunities for improvement and innovation, ensuring your territory remains competitive and agile in a dynamic business environment.
Requirements
- University degree in Business Management or a related field.
- 3–5 years of progressive experience in the beverage, bottling, or Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry.
- Exceptional communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is considered an asset.
- Strong proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and Microsoft Office Suite (2010 or later). Knowledge of SAP is highly advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet stringent deadlines.
- Familiarity with statistical process control and problem-solving methodologies.
- Proven track record of flexibility, collaboration, ethical conduct, and integrity.
