Key Responsibilities

The Senior Style Advisor is responsible for cultivating an atmosphere of passion and enthusiasm for Zegna collections while ensuring the highest level of sophistication and service. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Customer Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with customers by providing a warm and personalized welcome, adhering to the Zegna Selling Flow, and delivering an exceptional luxury experience.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive customer database by networking effectively and identifying opportunities to attract new clientele.
  • Anticipate and exceed customer expectations by understanding their preferences, occasions, and unexpressed needs, offering tailored styling advice and "total looks" that align with their lifestyle.
  • Leverage CRM tools and company-provided technology (e.g., iPad/iPod) to enhance the customer experience, ensuring seamless after-sales communication and follow-ups, including personalized thank-you notes and follow-up calls.
  • Resolve customer issues or complaints with empathy and professionalism, adhering to Zegna’s customer service policies, including alterations, repairs, and global return procedures.
• Fashion and Styling Expertise:
  • Develop an in-depth knowledge of Zegna’s heritage, craftsmanship, fabrics, and evolving collections, translating this expertise into compelling customer benefits.
  • Provide expert styling advice on color coordination, textures, patterns, silhouettes, proportions, and garment functionality to create cohesive and sophisticated "total looks."
  • Gather and relay customer feedback on products and collections to the Store Manager, contributing to the continuous improvement of Zegna’s offerings.
  • Stay informed about store stock availability and adjust sales strategies to maximize sell-through, ensuring customers are presented with the most relevant and desirable options.
  • Perform garment fittings and alteration measurements for ready-to-wear items, ensuring customers achieve the perfect fit.
  • Act as an in-store specialist for Zegna Su Misura (Made-to-Measure) service when assigned by the Store Manager, guiding customers through the bespoke experience.
• Visual and Image Management:
  • Uphold the highest standards of personal grooming in alignment with Zegna’s uniform and grooming guidelines to reflect the brand’s luxury image.
  • Ensure adherence to Zegna’s product and gift packaging standards to maintain the brand’s premium aesthetic and quality perception.
  • Contribute to store visual merchandising efforts, ensuring displays and presentations align with Zegna’s luxury positioning and enhance the overall shopping experience.
• Operational Excellence:
  • Drive sales growth by demonstrating an entrepreneurial mindset and proactively identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell Zegna’s diverse product portfolio.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager and team to achieve sales targets, operational goals, and brand objectives.
  • Participate in training programs and workshops to stay updated on industry trends, product innovations, and selling techniques.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in luxury retail, fashion styling, or a related field, with a proven track record of driving sales and customer satisfaction.
• Fashion Knowledge: A deep understanding of men’s and women’s fashion, including trends, fabrics, tailoring techniques, and styling principles. Familiarity with luxury brands and their heritage is highly desirable.
• Customer Service: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to engage customers in meaningful conversations, build rapport, and deliver a personalized luxury experience.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate the value of Zegna’s products and services clearly and persuasively.
• Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using CRM software, iPads/iPods, and other digital tools to enhance customer interactions and streamline sales processes.
