Key Responsibilities

The Faculty Member will be responsible for delivering comprehensive English language courses, encompassing reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills. The role requires a commitment to strengthening students’ academic writing proficiency, grammatical accuracy, and effective communication. Additionally, the candidate will support the development of specialized medical and academic terminology to ensure students are well-prepared for their future studies. Employing student-centered teaching methodologies, the Faculty Member will foster an engaging and interactive learning environment. Proficiency in utilizing Learning Management Systems (LMS), such as Blackboard, and digital teaching tools is essential. The role also includes preparing and administering assessments using platforms like ExamSoft or equivalent, maintaining meticulous records of attendance, grades, and academic reports, and ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.

Student Support and Development

A critical aspect of this position involves providing academic guidance tailored to students with diverse English proficiency levels. The Faculty Member will assist students in enhancing their communication and study skills, identifying those who may require additional support, and implementing targeted interventions to address their needs. Requirements

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in English, Applied Linguistics, TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages), or a closely related field.
