Senior IT Internal Audit Officer

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior IT Internal Audit Officer to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring our organization's governance processes, risk management, and internal control systems are robust and effective. You will achieve this by performing IT and cybersecurity internal audits, adhering to international standards, and providing independent assurance to our Audit Committee and management.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Contributing to the implementation of relevant initiatives and projects, aligning with our strategic priorities.
• Developing, implementing, and ensuring compliance with Internal Audit policies and procedures.
• Evaluating our IT and cybersecurity environment and reviewing financial and operational processes to assess control effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities.
• Supporting the follow-up on audit findings and preparing periodic progress reports.
• Preparing and reviewing reports related to Internal Audit activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with our policies and standards.
• Contributing to the preparation and periodic update of the annual risk-based internal audit plan.
• Providing advisory and consulting services to management and business units, without compromising the independence of the Internal Audit Plan.
• Coordinating with external auditors and regulatory authorities, facilitating access to required reports and information.

To excel in this role, you should possess:

• A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• 2-4 years of relevant professional experience.
• Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English, both written and oral.
• Expertise in IT and cybersecurity, with a strong understanding of Microsoft Office tools.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
