Position Overview
As the Leader Western Region at Grohe Saudi Arabia Ltd. Co, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company’s project channel sales performance across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This full-time, on-site position based in Jeddah offers a unique opportunity to lead a dynamic team in a fast-paced, competitive market while contributing to the achievement of corporate objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs). Your strategic leadership will be instrumental in identifying and capitalizing on growth opportunities within the project business, fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be collectively accountable for the overall success of the project channel sales mission in the Western Region of Saudi Arabia. Your responsibilities will include:
- Channel Strategy and Target Identification: Collaborate with the Leader Projects KSA to identify and prioritize key channels and targets within the region, including:
- Sub Channel B (Residential): Focus on developers, contractors, and designers as primary targets, with the flexibility to allocate resources based on capacity and existing relationships.
- Sub Channel A (Hotels): Engage with hotel operators and developers to drive sales and brand visibility in the hospitality sector.
- Sub Channel C (Healthcare): Target owners, healthcare institutions, and key decision-makers to establish Grohe as a preferred supplier in this critical sector.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with supply chain management (SCM), product teams, and other relevant departments to develop and deliver tailored tools and resources that enhance service and support for project customers, ultimately driving increased sales performance.
- Stakeholder Engagement and Network Building: Conduct regular visits to contractors, developers, dealers, consultants, and other industry influencers to promote Grohe’s products and solutions. Build and maintain a robust network of professional relationships to strengthen market presence and influence.
- Channel Partner Support: Provide strategic support to distribution channels and collaborate effectively with channel partners to maximize project sales opportunities.
- Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Develop and maintain accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual project sales forecasts. Measure and analyze critical success factors to identify best practices and implement continuous improvement processes.
- Data Management and Reporting: Maintain a comprehensive database of key project contacts in the region and prepare detailed reports for senior management. Ensure full adherence to Salesforce for lead, opportunity, and client prospect management, including all relevant information.
- Market Intelligence and Competitor Analysis: Gather and report competitor market intelligence to management, identifying trends, opportunities, and potential threats to inform strategic decision-making.
- Budget Management: Adhere to budget guidelines while optimizing resources to achieve sales targets and maximize return on investment.
- Marketing and Brand Exposure: Identify and leverage marketing and specification events to enhance brand visibility and generate new business opportunities. Report on events that strengthen Grohe’s market position within the project sector.
- Interdepartmental Coordination: Ensure seamless coordination with other business channels, including OTC (Over The Counter) and showroom teams, to align efforts and achieve common regional goals and KPIs.
Qualifications and Education
- Language Proficiency: Fluent written and spoken English and Arabic. Proficiency in additional languages is considered a valuable asset.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or an equivalent field. An MBA is a plus and highly desirable.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a comparable leadership role, with a deep understanding of the Saudi market and the building materials industry. Prior experience in project sales, business development, or a related field within the industry is mandatory.
- Industry Knowledge: Demonstrated success in a fast-paced, competitive, and deadline-driven environment, with a proven track record of delivering results while upholding the highest standards of quality and excellence synonymous with LIXIL’s reputation.
- Stakeholder Management: Proven experience in managing external relationships and engaging with diverse stakeholders, including developers, contractors, hotel operators, and healthcare institutions.
Location
This position is based in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and requires on-site presence to effectively execute responsibilities and engage with key stakeholders in the region.
