Your Role as a FinOps Analyst

As a FinOps Analyst at Tamara, you will play a pivotal role within the Finance Operations (FinOps) team, ensuring financial operational efficiency, accuracy, and control. This position is instrumental in advancing FinOps initiatives, fostering collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, and supporting the team’s mission to deliver financial and operational excellence. Leveraging your financial acumen and analytical prowess, you will transform raw data into strategic insights, enabling informed decision-making that enhances the way millions of users shop, pay, and bank.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily Financial Operations: Execute critical financial tasks, including timely and accurate transaction processing and balance reconciliations, to maintain the integrity of our financial systems.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as a trusted liaison between the FinOps team and internal stakeholders, including Finance and cross-functional departments, to facilitate seamless financial operations.
• System Maintenance & Integrity: Ensure the accuracy, reliability, and security of financial operations systems and platforms through regular updates and diligent oversight.
• Project Leadership: Drive and support high-impact FinOps projects, including stakeholder engagement and process optimization initiatives, to enhance operational efficiency.
• Comprehensive Support: Provide robust support for core FinOps functions such as merchant settlements, payment processing, and financial reporting and forecasting.
• Process Innovation: Contribute to continuous improvement efforts and automation initiatives that streamline operations and elevate performance.
• Compliance & Risk Management: Uphold strict adherence to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and financial controls while proactively identifying and mitigating operational risks.

Your Expertise

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required, with a preference for candidates holding professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, or CMA.
• Minimum of 2–4 years of relevant experience in Finance Operations (FinOps) or similar middle/back-office finance roles.
• Hands-on experience with financial reconciliation tools, FinOps platforms, and advanced Microsoft Excel functionalities.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to dissect complex financial data and derive actionable insights.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with business-level fluency in English.
• Proven track record in managing stakeholder relationships and leading projects to successful completion.
• Unwavering commitment to accuracy, attention to detail, and a high standard of quality in all deliverables.
