Role Overview

The Pharmacy Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of our pharmacy services. Based in Riyadh, this full-time, on-site position requires a detail-oriented professional who can support all aspects of pharmacy operations while maintaining the highest standards of patient care and regulatory adherence. The successful candidate will work closely with pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to process prescriptions, verify dosages, and ensure accurate medication dispensing. Key Responsibilities

• Prescription Processing and Verification: Review and process prescriptions with precision, verifying dosages, drug interactions, and patient-specific considerations to ensure safety and adherence to clinical guidelines.
• Medication Dispensing and Safety: Ensure accurate and timely dispensing of medications while maintaining strict compliance with regulatory and organizational standards to minimize risks and enhance patient outcomes.
• Collaborative Teamwork: Work seamlessly with pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and healthcare providers to support seamless pharmacy operations, including compounding activities when required.
• Patient-Centered Customer Service: Provide clear, courteous, and informative guidance to patients regarding their medications, addressing inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must possess a strong foundation in pharmacy operations and pharmaceutical care, supported by relevant professional certification or licensure in accordance with local regulations. The ideal candidate will have:

• A Diploma or degree in Pharmacy or a related field, with demonstrated knowledge of pharmacy operations and clinical guidelines.
• Proven experience in accurately processing and verifying prescriptions, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to patient safety.
