Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

The Funds Investment & Operation Analyst will be responsible for the following core functions:

• Investment Sourcing and Evaluation: Proactively identify and cultivate investment opportunities by engaging with venture capitalists, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders. Evaluate potential investments to determine their alignment with the Group’s strategic priorities, financial viability, and growth potential.
• Financial Analysis and Modeling: Conduct in-depth financial analysis of target companies, including historical performance, future projections, and funding requirements. Develop sophisticated financial models and valuation frameworks to assess appropriate investment pricing, expected returns, and risk-adjusted performance.
• Due Diligence Leadership: Lead comprehensive due diligence processes, collaborating with internal stakeholders and external experts—such as legal, financial, and operational advisors—to evaluate all critical aspects of potential investments. Ensure thorough assessment of financial, legal, and operational risks.
• Investment Documentation and Presentation: Prepare detailed investment thesis documents that outline the rationale, strategic value, risk factors, and projected returns. Present these proposals to the investment committee, addressing inquiries and securing necessary approvals to advance investment initiatives.
• Deal Structuring and Negotiation: Take a lead role in structuring investment deals to optimize financial returns while maintaining strategic alignment with the Group’s objectives. Negotiate terms and conditions to maximize value creation and mitigate risks.
• Compliance and Governance: Ensure strict adherence to investment policies, governance models, and regulatory requirements throughout the investment lifecycle. Monitor ongoing compliance and report on investment performance to senior management.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is required. Additional qualifications in investment or financial analysis are highly desirable.
• Professional Experience: A minimum of 0-2 years of relevant experience in business development, fund investments, strategic planning, or a comparable role within the telecommunications industry is essential. Prior exposure to investment analysis, financial modeling, or corporate strategy is advantageous.
• Technical and Analytical Skills: Proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and data analysis tools is critical. Strong quantitative and qualitative research capabilities, along with exceptional attention to detail, are imperative for success in this role.
• Communication and Collaboration: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required to effectively present investment proposals, negotiate terms, and liaise with stakeholders at all levels. The ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment is essential.
• Regulatory and Compliance Awareness: A solid understanding of investment governance, regulatory frameworks, and risk management principles is preferred. Familiarity with industry-specific compliance requirements is a plus.
