Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Security Engineer to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities

• Threat Detection and Response: Monitor security systems, analyze potential threats, and implement proactive measures to prevent security breaches. Respond swiftly to incidents, conduct thorough investigations, and recommend corrective actions to mitigate risks.
• Security Architecture and Design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain secure network architectures, systems, and applications. Ensure adherence to industry best practices and compliance with relevant security frameworks and regulations.
• Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular security assessments, penetration testing, and risk evaluations to identify vulnerabilities. Develop and execute remediation plans to address identified weaknesses and enhance overall security posture.
• Policy Development and Compliance: Develop, review, and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as GDPR, HIPAA, or PCI-DSS, and conduct audits to verify adherence.
• Incident Management and Recovery: Lead incident response efforts, including containment, eradication, and recovery. Document lessons learned and implement improvements to prevent future occurrences.
• Security Awareness and Training: Promote a culture of security awareness by providing training sessions and resources to employees. Foster a proactive approach to security across all levels of the organization.
• Collaboration and Reporting: Work closely with IT, development, and operations teams to integrate security best practices into all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC). Provide regular reports on security metrics, risks, and mitigation strategies to stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or CISM are highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of [X] years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, with a proven track record in roles such as Security Analyst, Network Security Engineer, or similar positions.
