Position Overview

We are seeking a meticulous and driven Accountant to join our growing finance team. Key Responsibilities

The Accountant will be responsible for a wide range of financial tasks, including but not limited to:

• Daily Accounting Operations: Prepare and record accurate accounting entries to ensure the integrity of financial data. This includes posting journal entries, updating ledgers, and maintaining detailed transaction records.
• Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports. Ensure these reports are delivered in a timely and accurate manner to support strategic decision-making.
• Bank Reconciliations: Perform regular reconciliations of bank accounts to verify the accuracy of financial records and identify any discrepancies. Maintain and update general ledger accounts to reflect all financial activities accurately.
• Accounts Payable and Receivable Management: Oversee the processing of invoices, vendor payments, and customer collections. Conduct follow-ups on outstanding payments to ensure timely receipts and disbursements, thereby optimizing cash flow.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to accounting standards, internal policies, and applicable financial regulations. Stay updated on changes in accounting principles and regulatory requirements to mitigate risks and maintain compliance.
• ERP System Management: Utilize the Odoo ERP system to manage accounting transactions efficiently. Input data, generate reports, and troubleshoot any system-related issues to streamline financial operations.
• Audit Support: Provide comprehensive support during internal and external audits. Prepare audit schedules, gather necessary documentation, and collaborate with auditors to address inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Professional Certification: A Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification is mandatory, demonstrating a commitment to professional excellence and expertise in financial management.
• Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with the Odoo ERP system is essential. Familiarity with other accounting software will be considered an advantage.
• Accounting Knowledge: A solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and data analysis tools. Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data and generate actionable insights.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional organizational abilities, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills in both Arabic and English to effectively liaise with internal teams, vendors, and external stakeholders.
• Experience: 0–2 years of relevant accounting experience, with a preference for candidates who have worked in a similar role or industry.
