Emergency Medicine Product Specialist - Jeddah

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Emergency Medicine Product Specialist to join our dynamic team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This pivotal role will support the growth of our Emergency Medicine (EM) Division by providing exceptional product training and sales support to our distribution partners across Saudi Arabia and potentially other Middle Eastern markets. Reporting directly to the Country Sales Manager in Riyadh, the successful candidate will play a critical role in driving revenue growth through enhanced product utilization, customer adoption, and strategic sales initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

The Emergency Medicine Product Specialist will serve as a technical expert and educator, ensuring that our distribution partners and customers are fully equipped to utilize our products effectively. The role involves:

• Product Training and Education: Conduct regular in-person and virtual product training sessions, demonstrations, and presentations to enhance customer understanding and confidence in our Emergency Medicine products. Develop and deliver tailored educational materials to address specific clinical and operational needs.
• Collaborative Engagement: Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Clinical Medical Affairs teams to identify opportunities for clinical and medical education. Collaborate with Clinical Medical Affairs to facilitate key customer engagements and ensure alignment with educational strategies.
• Strategic Account Development: Support the execution of commercial tactical plans to increase product awareness and uptake across Saudi Arabia. Partner with the Country Sales Manager and local distributors to target key accounts, maximize operational efficiency, and implement business strategies.
• Key Account Management: Attend critical customer meetings, conferences, and industry events to represent Teleflex and strengthen relationships. Develop and nurture a network of Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to drive product adoption and advocacy.
• Market Expansion: As the customer base grows and expertise is developed, the role will evolve to include greater responsibility for expanding into new accounts and territories within Saudi Arabia.

Essential Skills and Experience

We are looking for a candidate with a proven track record in medical device sales or support, ideally within surgical or emergency medicine equipment. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and attributes:

• Education: A degree in a life sciences, engineering, or business-related field is required. Advanced degrees or certifications in relevant disciplines are advantageous.
• Professional Experience: Experience as a Product Specialist, Sales Representative, or similar role in the medical device industry, with a focus on emergency medicine or surgical products. Prior experience in the Middle East or emerging markets is preferred but not mandatory.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of medical device technologies, clinical applications, and regulatory requirements. Ability to translate complex technical information into clear, actionable insights for customers.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. A collaborative mindset with the ability to work both independently and as part of a cross-functional team. Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and sound judgment in decision-making processes.

Requirements
