Taxi Services & Direct Response Performance Assistant Manager

Job Purpose

Support operational oversight of contracted taxi and demand-responsive transport services, ensuring fleet readiness, vehicle compliance, and service coverage standards to deliver safe and equitable mobility for Jeddah passengers.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Monitor vehicle availability and readiness, ensuring fleets meet service coverage requirements and contractual standards
• Track operator adherence to vehicle maintenance, safety inspection, and roadworthiness standards, escalating non-compliance
• Analyze fleet utilization data to optimize vehicle allocation and reduce service downtime
• Support contract governance related to vehicle standards and fleet compliance
• Coordinate contingency responses to vehicle shortfalls or demand surges
• Liaise with operators on operational coordination to minimize passenger wait times
• Collaborate with technology and contract management teams to enhance real-time fleet visibility
• Support budget tracking and cost-efficiency reviews for fleet operations
• Prepare fleet performance reports, highlighting trends, compliance gaps, and operational improvement opportunities
• Assist in embedding sustainability policies into vehicle contract requirements
