The Welding Specialist is responsible for ensuring the quality, safety, and compliance of welding activities across our facilities. This role involves a blend of technical expertise, leadership, and coordination to maintain our high standards and meet international benchmarks.

• Review and approve welding procedures, welder qualifications, and related documentation.
• Lead technical problem resolution and provide welding consultancy.
• Ensure compliance with Company specifications, international standards, and continual update of Company standards.
• Manage contractor welding quality and monitor welder performance.
• Conduct surveillance inspections and develop special welding repair procedures.
• Support area inspectors, participate in Turnaround and Shutdown activities, and review Management of Change (MOC) requests.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Inspection Superintendent.
