Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated NOC Engineer to join our dynamic team in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This permanent role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in network operations, telecom monitoring, and satellite service management. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our network infrastructure by monitoring signaling pathways, routing behavior, SIM flows, and cross-core interactions that impact satellite services. If you are passionate about maintaining high service availability, troubleshooting complex network issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams, this opportunity is tailored for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Network Monitoring & Event Handling: Proactively monitor signaling pathways, routing behavior, SIM flows, OSS hooks, and cross-core interactions to identify and resolve issues impacting satellite services. Analyze logs, traces, routing tables, and event correlations across network elements to diagnose and mitigate incidents.
- Incident Management: Respond to network alarms, KPI deviations, and partner escalations with a focus on rapid resolution and service restoration. Maintain disciplined documentation and tracking of incidents, ensuring adherence to incident workflows and escalation protocols.
- Technical Analysis & Troubleshooting: Utilize advanced tools and methodologies to analyze network performance, identify root causes of issues, and implement corrective actions. Familiarity with multi-vendor NOC environments, OSS/NMS platforms, and telecom connectivity flows is essential.
- Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with internal teams, partner NOCs, and cross-functional stakeholders to coordinate incident resolution, share critical updates, and ensure alignment on service quality objectives. Strong communication skills are required to articulate technical findings and recommendations clearly.
- Shift-Based Support: Demonstrate adaptability to shift-based schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to provide 24/7 network coverage and maintain operational continuity.
