Position Overview
We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Director of Project Management Office (PMO) to lead EjadTech’s strategic PMO function. This pivotal role will be responsible for establishing and executing a robust project governance framework, driving portfolio excellence, and ensuring seamless alignment between project investments and the company’s long-term business objectives. The ideal candidate will possess a rare blend of executive leadership, strategic foresight, and operational acumen to elevate our project delivery capabilities across technology and consulting services while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic PMO Leadership & Governance
The PMO Director will define and implement a forward-thinking PMO vision, strategy, and operating model that aligns with EjadTech’s enterprise goals. This includes:
- Developing and enforcing enterprise-wide project governance frameworks, methodologies, and standardized processes to ensure consistency and compliance across all project portfolios.
- Leading the evolution of PMO maturity through continuous improvement initiatives, benchmarking, and adoption of industry best practices.
- Overseeing portfolio planning, prioritization, and resource allocation to maximize business value and ROI on project investments.
- Providing executive leadership with actionable portfolio insights, strategic recommendations, and performance analytics to inform decision-making.
- Ensuring projects are delivered within defined scope, budget, timelines, and quality standards while fulfilling contractual and client obligations.
Portfolio & Project Oversight
This role will directly oversee EjadTech’s technology and consulting project portfolios, with a focus on:
- Monitoring portfolio health, project performance, risks, dependencies, and resource utilization through advanced dashboards and reporting frameworks.
- Managing project stage gates, approvals, and executive decision-making processes to maintain alignment with business priorities.
- Ensuring rigorous project closure processes, including completion certificates, client sign-offs, and formal handovers to sustain long-term client relationships.
Operational Excellence & Organizational Transformation
The PMO Director will drive operational efficiency and scalability by:
- Leading the development of PMO tools, performance metrics, and reporting frameworks to enhance visibility and accountability.
- Identifying and implementing process improvements to streamline project delivery and reduce operational inefficiencies.
- Championing the adoption of project management best practices and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) across the organization.
- Supporting strategic business transformation programs and corporate planning efforts to position EjadTech for sustainable growth.
Leadership & Talent Development
This executive role will cultivate a high-performance project management culture by:
- Leading, mentoring, and developing PMO managers, project managers, and delivery teams to enhance their professional capabilities.
- Fostering cross-functional collaboration between business units, consulting teams, technology teams, and executive leadership.
- Promoting professional development initiatives and certifications (e.g., PMP, PgMP, Agile) to build a world-class project management workforce.
Stakeholder Engagement & Executive Representation
The PMO Director will serve as the primary executive sponsor for PMO governance and portfolio oversight, with responsibilities including:
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with executive leadership, clients, and strategic partners to drive alignment and trust.
- Representing EjadTech in executive steering committees, governance boards, and client leadership meetings to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and fostering long-term partnership success through proactive engagement and delivery excellence.
Qualifications & Competencies
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) is highly desirable.
- PMP certification is mandatory; additional certifications such as PgMP, PMI-ACP, PRINCE2, or Agile are strongly preferred.
Professional Experience
- Minimum of 15 years of progressive project management experience, with at least 5 years in a PMO leadership or executive delivery role.
- Proven track record of leading enterprise PMOs and managing large-scale technology and consulting portfolios in dynamic environments.
- Deep understanding of governance frameworks, portfolio management, organizational transformation, and business strategy execution.
