About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Finance Operations Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping the commercial and operational finance foundation of CNTXT. Reporting directly to the Director of Finance Operations, this high-impact individual contributor will collaborate closely with the CFO, Revenue Department, and business line leaders to drive financial excellence, operational efficiency, and commercial governance. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where processes are being built from the ground up, and where financial insights directly influence strategic decision-making.

Core Responsibilities

The Finance Operations Manager will oversee four critical pillars to ensure the financial health and scalability of the organization:

  • Revenue Quality & Forecasting:
    • Monitor and report on bookings, revenue recognition, and pipeline performance across business lines.
    • Develop and maintain robust forecasting models to support monthly and quarterly revenue outlooks.
    • Collaborate with the Revenue Department to ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition under IFRS 15 standards.
  • Margin Intelligence & Cost-to-Serve:
    • Construct and refine gross margin models by business line and deal, benchmarking against company thresholds.
    • Design and update cost models for services and products, incorporating direct costs, subcontractor expenses, and allocated overheads.
    • Conduct detailed margin distribution analysis at the deal level to identify outliers and inform strategic pricing decisions.
  • People Productivity & Resource Finance:
    • Track billable utilization for Professional Services and Managed Services teams, producing insightful productivity reports.
    • Monitor Delivery bench costs to optimize resource allocation and financial performance.
  • Commercial Governance & Deal Desk:
    • Act as a key participant in the deal desk process, evaluating deal economics, pricing compliance, and contract value at risk.
    • Maintain and update rate cards across business lines to ensure alignment with approved pricing policies.
    • Support contract reviews from a financial perspective, identifying commercial risks and ensuring policy adherence.

Additional Responsibilities

Beyond the core pillars, the Finance Operations Manager will contribute to broader financial and operational initiatives, including:

  • Preparing and maintaining the Monthly Business Review to provide executive leadership with actionable financial insights.
  • Supporting town hall reporting and high-level Finance presentations to stakeholders across the organization.
  • Serving as the Finance point of contact (SPOC) on cross-functional projects, ensuring alignment with financial objectives.
  • Assisting with accounts receivable follow-up and cash collection tracking in coordination with the Controller function.
  • Contributing to the development and maintenance of Finance policies and procedures within the Finance Operations team.

Qualifications & Competencies

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; an MBA or professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA) is a strong plus.
  • Minimum of 6 to 8 years of progressive experience in commercial finance, business finance, FP&A, or a related role.
  • Proven track record in a Technology, SaaS, cloud services, or technology-focused consulting firm, with a preference for candidates who have operated in startup, joint venture, or high-growth environments.
  • Hands-on experience with revenue recognition under IFRS 15, particularly in multi-element arrangements or services contexts.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and their integration with financial reporting and analysis.

Technical & Functional Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling using Excel or Google Sheets, with experience in BI tools such as Looker or Power BI considered advantageous.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with a focus on margin analysis, cost modeling, and deal economics.
  • Exceptional ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver clear, concise financial insights to senior stakeholders.

Language & Communication

  • Fluency in English and Arabic is required to effectively collaborate across global teams and stakeholders.
