About the Role

Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a highly skilled and proactive Senior Specialist - Accounts Payable to join our dynamic finance team. Key Responsibilities

As the Senior Specialist - Accounts Payable, you will be entrusted with the following core responsibilities:

• Leadership and Supervision: Oversee the accounts payable team to ensure the accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments, maintaining the highest standards of financial accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Invoice and Payment Review: Review and approve vendor invoices, verifying compliance with company policies, contractual agreements, and regulatory requirements to mitigate financial risks and ensure transparency.
• Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors and internal departments, proactively resolving invoice discrepancies, payment issues, and other financial inquiries to maintain strong business relationships.
• Vendor and Record Management: Maintain up-to-date and accurate vendor information and records within the accounting system, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Internal Controls and Audits: Conduct regular audits of accounts payable transactions to verify adherence to internal controls, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions to strengthen financial governance.
• Financial Reporting and Analysis: Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities specific to accounts payable, preparing comprehensive reports and analyzing financial data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of evolving best practices, industry standards, and regulatory requirements in accounts payable management to ensure the company remains compliant and competitive.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you will bring the following qualifications and competencies:

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Professional Experience: A minimum of four years of progressive experience in accounts payable, finance, or a related financial discipline, with a proven track record of managing complex financial processes.
• Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of accounts payable processes, internal controls, and financial regulations, coupled with hands-on experience using accounting software and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Analytical and Detail-Oriented: Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills to identify discrepancies, resolve issues, and optimize financial operations.
